Enter Security Key (WEP)

WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is a security protocol for wireless networks. Data is encrypted using the WEP key providing security for your wireless network.



Enter Security Key (WEP) text box:

Specify exactly the same values that are set for the access point/wireless router. To confirm the values set for the access point/wireless router, refer to the documentation provided with your access point/wireless router.


If the WEP key uses ASCII characters, enter the 5 or 13 character WEP key. The key is case sensitive.


If the WEP key is hexadecimal, enter the 10 or 26 character WEP key.
